How to download your Eventbrite and Mailchimp data

Updated: Mar 31, 2021

For some of our tools, it’s necessary to download your Eventbrite or Mailchimp data before you can get to the fun stuff...

Never done it before? Don’t fear, we’re here to help!

Eventbrite

Once you’re logged in, head to your ‘Manage’ page.

There you’ll find all of your events. Go to the event you need and select ‘Reports’, then 'Event Reports'.

You’ll see lots of exciting options for reports that you can download. For our tools, you’ll need the ‘Attendee Summary’ report.

Edit the report as you need, and then hit download.

Make sure to download your report as a CSV file. This file type is the easiest for computers to read.

You’ll know it’s the right one if the download says .csv at the end.

Viola! You have a report that is ready to be prepared, enriched, and analysed.

Top top: data from before 2011 won't be available to download from Eventbrite for much longer - so make sure to download anything you need now!

Mailchimp

After you’ve logged in, go to ‘Audience’.

From the Audience menu, select ‘All contacts’.

Then, select ‘Export audience’ from the right hand side (just above the list of contacts).

Voila! Your data is downloaded and ready for it’s next steps.
